Job Overview We are looking for a Culinary Assistant to join our team at Willows Bend!

This position is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in Fridley, MN.

This nutrition services schedule includes; 56 hours every two weeks Part time, Day/Early Evening shift; 11 AM - 7 PM Includes every other weekend & holiday rotation Benefit Eligible: (Paid Time Off, Retirement, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access!) Responsibilities: Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting: Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.

Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.

Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.

Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.

Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.

Follows proper work flow to stay on task.

Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.

Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.

Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction: Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.

Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.

Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately.

Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

Required Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive attitude required Desire to work with seniors Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma 1 year experience Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
