Tool & Die Maker

Performs all types of tool room work, which includes setting up and operating equipment required to perform assignment or task efficiently using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedure, toll charts, gauges, etc.

Responsible for installation and maintenance of all equipment in plant using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedures, tool charts, gauges, etc.

May be assigned to do machine repair work when necessary and qualified.

Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment.

Capable of repairing pneumatics and hydraulics.

Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests.

Responsible for diagnosing and correcting trouble of all descriptions on equipment.

Assists foreman in purchase of replacement or spare parts

8 years of verifiable work experience as a Tool & Die Maker or a Journeymans card. (REQUIRED)

High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to lift 55lbs.

Good mechanical skills

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills
