Position Summary
A Manual Assembler I is responsible for performing simple, repetitive, manual assembly tasks. The assembly tasks for which this individual is responsible are typically comprised of single-step operations. The assembler is also responsible for ensure that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Keep work area clean
Able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment
Ability to perform tasks with the assistance of microscopes
Perform functional product testing as required
Complete production records and work order documentation as needed
Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition, and inventory management systems
Weigh count, package and label finished product
Able to learn simple operations quickly and easily
Able to demonstrate flexibility in performing multiple simple manual operations. Simple operation involves a repetitive simple task, typically with a single step
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Able to read and understand procedures
Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred
