Yardi Database Specialist

Knowledge / Skills / Ability: Capacity to learn new software programs including YARDI Property Management software Microsoft Word Excel Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal and team skills Troubleshooting and analytical skills The ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal business communication Knowledge of Real Estate Databases, transaction processes, including review of contracts Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with Accounting for Multifamily Housing Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience YARDI Property Management software YARDI PayScan Knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 Policies and Best Practices.

Responsibilities: Maintain the integrity of the company's Yardi database system, including:System is in balance Workflows are properly maintained Employees and menus are properly assigned General database user security Administer user security profiles and manage databases (production, test, test 2, etc.) for Yardi.

Working with the Database Director, the Operations Director and our Insurance coordinator to improve systems Work with Business Systems Analyst(s) and other 3rd Party Management SPOCs to maintain systems settings, processes, vendor approvals, and documentation Participate in testing for Yardi systems upgrades, with a focus on database changes and third party application information Helping perform quarterly user audit for review by auditors and MIS/ Accounting senior management Provide ongoing support and training to all users of the system and all SPOC's at 3rd Party Managers utilizing the database From time to time, leading monthly calls and other training calls.

Help provide a link between various groups (including Regional Managers and Asset Managers) and IT for Yardi related report writing.

Use experience and judgment to know when a task needs to be performed within the Yardi user group, and when the analyst should request external technical assistance Help develop in-house training programs to further the Yardi proficiency for Peak Living on-site users, regionals, and accounting staff Peak Living LLC offers a competitive compensation package including health, vision, dental and life insurance and discounted rent program.
