Pest Control Technician
Locations: Lynchburg, Bedford, Eastern VA, Williamsburg.

Pest control technicians mitigate unwanted pests, such as roaches, rats, ants, bed bugs, mosquitoes, ticks, and termites that infest buildings and surrounding areas, restoring peace of mind to our customers. Unwanted pests that infest buildings and surrounding areas can pose serious risks to the health and safety of occupants. Pest control workers remove and control populations of these creatures from homes, apartments, offices, and other structures to protect people and to maintain the structural integrity of buildings.

We have an exciting opportunity available for you as a Pest Control Technician at our two regions with Branch locations in Virginia. Our client is a locally owned and operated company who has provided pest control services to residents and businesses in the state of Virginia for 20 years. What you will be doing:
Servicing residential and commercial locations in order to control pest problems
Performing routine services - perimeter treatment, dealing with pest control issues - and seasonal pest services (mosquitos, etc.)
Inspecting buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
Identifying, selecting, and applying chemical or manual solutions to eliminate pests
Installing, inspecting, and maintaining Termite stations (termite protection)
Selling services to new and existing customers.
Compensation:
In addition to having more independence in your scheduling, we provide you with the opportunity to control your income. While some positions provide the same wage regardless of effort, at our client you have unlimited earnings potential. Extra-ordinary inter-personal and customer service skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Have good physical stamina
Have a valid driver's license with good driving record
3 years of licensed driving experience preferred
Familiar with technology for ticket completion
Comfortable with crawlspaces when necessary
Willing to obtain Registered Pesticide Application License within 90 days
New to Pest Control or an experienced bug-buster? Either way, we will train! We provide both formal technical instruction as well as in-field training for your first 30-45 days.
