Position: Site Acquisition Specialist (PA / VA / WV area Market)

Location: Remote â Must reside near Pittsburgh, Northern Virginia, or Eastern West Virginia

Type: Contract (6+ months, likelihood for extension) â W2 eligible for medical & 401k benefits

Pay Rate: $38.46â $40.87/hr (W2, DOE)

Schedule: Mondayâ Friday, standard business hours (flexible start times as early as 6:30 AM)

Travel: Occasional site walks as needed

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Acquisition Specialist to support a high-volume wireless telecom project in the VA/PA region. This role is ideal for candidates with AT&T project experience and a solid background in New Site Builds (NSB). You will be responsible for site candidate selection, leasing, tower owner applications, zoning, permitting, and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAQ efforts for both NSB and modification projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Coordinate lease negotiations, zoning, permitting, and tower owner applications.

Manage tower owner processes through industry-standard portals.

Navigate new jurisdictions and local zoning ordinances with confidence.

Prepare and submit lease documentation packages and track negotiations.

Deliver timely site updates using internal/client tracking tools for status meetings.

Travel locally for site walks when needed.

Represent the company in deployment meetings and cross-functional coordination.

Required Qualifications

3â 5 years of experience in wireless site acquisition, with demonstrated NSB work.

Direct AT&T project experience strongly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong understanding of lease review, tower loading, and jurisdictional permitting.

Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple site timelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication; highly responsive and detail-focused.

Must successfully pass a background check (10 years), DMV check, and a 10-panel drug screen (no alcohol).

Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work without sponsorship.

Preferred Experience

Prior work with firms engaged in wireless telecom design, right-of-way, or small cell projects.

Familiarity with high-volume project environments and tower owner applications (e.g., Crown Castle, American Tower).

This is a remote position, but candidates must be based near Pittsburgh, Northern Virginia, or Eastern West Virginia due to occasional on-site requirements.
