Cloud Application Engineer

*** Cloud Application Engineer with PHP Development experience *** &##128205; Location: Mougins, France (3 days/week onsite) &##128197; Start Date: ASAP Duration: Long-term project &##128188; Work Type: Freelance / B2B Senovo IT is urgently looking for a Cloud Application Engineer to support a major transformation initiative for one of our key clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization and optimization of legacy applications into scalable cloud-native solutions.

&##128295; Role Responsibilities: • Rewrite or adapt applications to be compatible with public cloud environments • Integrate with native cloud services (AWS, Private GCP Kubernetes) • Manage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) as needed • Ensure application security and performance optimization • Implement cloud security best practices • Test application scalability and resilience post-migration • Adapt configuration and architecture for the cloud environment &##128161; Key Requirements: • Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes (Private GCP K8s is a plus) • Solid hands-on experience in PHP development – mandatory • Proficiency with Docker & Kubernetes • Proven ability to optimize application performance and implement security standards • Experience with application migration to cloud platforms &##127970; Onsite Requirement: The role is based in Mougins, and the consultant must be available 2-3 days per week onsite .
