About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary standards and evolving the menu to reflect the seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing the entire kitchen operation
Lead services, ensuring smooth and efficient execution
Drive consistently high standards in food preparation and presentation
Train and support junior team members
Oversee daily stock control and ordering
Identify and source high-quality, local ingredients
Contribute to the design and innovation of new dishes
Support all aspects of kitchen management including GP%, health and safety, and hygiene compliance
About You:
Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Senior CDP role within a fine dining or high-end restaurant
Strong understanding of seasonal produce and modern cooking techniques
Creative, driven, and passionate about delivering a top-tier dining experience
Confident in leading a team and running busy services
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and stock management
