**The Role:** We're seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to help pioneer surgical visualization technologies. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation across the technology stack—from data collection and algorithm development to deployment and iteration.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop novel computer vision and artificial intelligence based technologies to make surgery more efficient and safe
+ Implement low latency image processing pipelines in C++/CUDA
+ Work closely with team to collect datasets for development, testing and AI/ML model training
+ Build and deploy tools for visualizing, debugging, and evaluating the image data, associated annotations and objective metrics.
+ Work in a dynamic, agile environment, partnering with other advanced imaging program teams to drive forward breakthroughs in medical visualization technologies.
**Qualifications**
+ Educational background: A MS in engineering.
Required:
+ Familiarity with computer vision fundamentals (intrinsic and extrinsic calibrations, projection matrices, epipolar geometry and computational photography).
+ Software Engineering and programming skills with C++.
+ Experience working in a Linux environment.
Preferred:
+ Experience with AI/ML (e.g. PyTorch)
+ Experience with CUDA
+ Experience with handling data, defining data ground truth, and handling data infrastructure.
+ Experience within Git source control
+ Experience with software testing and continuous integration/DevOps.
+ Proficient in English (written and spoken)
