Join our team at Veterans Multi-Service, a non-profit dedicated to serving veterans. We seek a full-time Client Intake personnel to assist veteran households, particularly those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, through our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and verify veteran housing status.
Support case management by gathering necessary documentation and connecting veterans with VA and community resources.
Assist veterans with application processes, including obtaining required documentation.
Follow up with veterans regarding application status and connect ineligible veterans with alternative resources.
Develop and maintain referral relationships with community partners.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years experience in community engagement/communications, ideally with programs addressing poverty, homelessness, or personal development.
Knowledge of social service/non-profit sectors, particularly housing/homelessness resources.
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurance.
