About the Finance Manager/Controller role

Oversight of accounting team - managing, reporting and compliance.

Putting together financials on a monthly basis - hands on.

Budgeting and forecasting, reforecasting.

Heavy analysis of overall monthly numbers, reporting to the ownership group

The Controller will be instrumental in suggesting enhanced policies and procedures.

Review of month-end financials.

Managing the budget, forecast, cost and revenue reports, sate/local/federal tax filings, working with external functions including external audit.

Work with senior management on providing financial analysis and ad-hoc projects.

Preferred qualifications of the Finance Manager/Controller

BS Accounting, CPA desired.

Experience with Sage ERP is highly preferred.

Construction or Manufacturing accounting background with supervisory experience.
