Job Description

Join our team at Olsson, a leading engineering firm actively seeking a dedicated Experienced Engineer for Water Resources in our Overland Park, KS office. As an Experienced Engineer, you will perform various tasks that immerse you in practical experience and expose you to diverse engineering facets, methods, and programs. You will execute precise technical engineering calculations and develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for floodplain modeling and mapping. Engaging in design and management tasks for stormwater projects, including channel stabilization/restoration, storm drain systems, culverts, and water quality features, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also coordinate with supervisors and project managers to achieve project objectives. Additionally, you will innovate and introduce new ideas to projects, showcasing your creativity and initiative.

We will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Overland Park, KS office location. This position provides a flexible hybrid work environment.

Bachelor's degree in engineering

2 to 4 years of experience

Engineer Intern (EI) certificate, preferred

Experience with HEC-RAS modeling software

Experience with Civil3D software

Experience with modeling software is a plus

Aspiration to advance and evolve in the field of water resources engineering
