A leading consumer goods manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our 2nd shift team. Schedule
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
Design and troubleshoot minor electrical circuits, including PLC and electronic control systems
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Install electrical and electronic systems on machinery using schematics and blueprints
Perform mechanical repairs as needed
Inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment, replacing defective components
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
Layout, assemble, install, and adjust electrical fixtures, wiring, and services, including panels, breakers, and conduit
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures according to specifications
Use appropriate tools and testing instruments to repair, install, and replace electrical circuits
Provide guidance to lower classification team members
Complete tasks as assigned by the Group Leader
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree in a related technical field
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
Proficiency in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to search parts and enter work orders
Strong knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
Familiarity with mechanical repairs and system installations
Experience interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, pass a physical exam, and work in various physical positions (standing, bending, stooping)
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
