The Role

We're seeking a VP of Engineering to lead our engineering organization, set technical strategy, and drive the execution of our product roadmap. You'll work closely with the executive team to align engineering efforts with business objectives while building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and scale engineering teams across frontend, backend, and infrastructure

Develop and execute technical strategy aligned with company objectives

Create and maintain engineering processes that balance speed, quality, and technical debt

Drive product development prioritization in partnership with Product and Client Success

Set clear OKRs and metrics for engineering performance and delivery

Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement

Manage engineering budget and resource allocation

Establish best practices for system architecture, security, and scalability

Partner with Client Success to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions

Lead technical due diligence and strategic planning for new initiatives Required Skills

10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership roles

Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams (25+ engineers)

Strong technical background with broad knowledge of modern tech stacks

Experience setting and executing technical strategy

Track record of successful product launches and technical implementations

Experience managing engineering budgets and resources

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellence in cross-functional communication and stakeholder management

Experience with agile methodologies and development processes Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare technology or HIPAA-compliant systems

Track record of scaling engineering teams through high-growth

The pay range for this role is:

185,000 - 225,000 USD per year (Minneapolis)
