Job Summary:

In partnership with customer, Shop Management, and the Service Management Team the Asset Manager will coordinate and direct Field Service Jobs for valve repair, testing, machining and diagnosis services. The Asset Manager will oversee a team of Field Service Technicians who will be responsible for installation, connection, servicing, testing, adjustment, repair, maintenance, removal, trouble shooting, inspection and replacement of various valve types perthe customers' scope of work, and/or the customer's special instructions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all assigned Direct Reports

Hold required weekly Safety Meetings, and others as required by company Safety Procedures

Communicate workload on the Field Job to Employees and coordinate assignment of work.

Make sure all jobs are completed and delivered on time with the highest quality and cost efficiency.

Serve as primary branch-level resource for quality control and continuous improvement of Field Jobs.

Ensure adherence to the company Quality Management System

Communicate with Production Manager/Operations Manager and/or Service Manager/Service Coordinator (where applicable) throughout the day on schedule changes.

Manage and help coordinate all Field Service work (scheduling, tooling, personal, PPE, Costing/pricing).

Enforce company rules and policies. Document any and all violations.

Implement and maintain maintenance program on all field equipment

Learn and enforce the usage of the ValvKeep Service Software as required by company Procedures, and hold accountability for location level data in the system.

Learn to read, interpret, and train others on Safety Data Sheets (SDS), pre-cautions, Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE), hazards levels, etc;

Ensure all needed Field Service supplies are available, and coordinate the ordering of shop supplies

Responsible for all parts requests to ensure timely ordering and materials to complete valves.

Familiar with ASME, NBIC, and VR Programs and ensure Employees are also trained on this material.

Ensure Performance Reviews are given annually or as directed by Human Resources and/or the General Manager

Ensure all training is performed and documented in regards to Safety, company Quality Procedures, Site Specific and Work Instruction.

Oversee all cost spending on Field Service supplies, and equipment

Be on the job and available to work overtime, at times for extended periods of time based on seasonal customer demands Positional Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent GED or a minimum of 5 years of experience in control, pressure protection, and/or automated valve maintenance.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical repair/production environment

Minimum of 2 years' in leadership or supervision role

Experience working in and around mechanical, industrial and electrical equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PSV Data, Capacity charts and assembly and test instructions

Experience working with measurement devices and test gauges

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a TWIC and DOT Driver's license

Willing and able to lift and work with Personal Protective Equipment, including Emergency Breathing Apparatus Desired Skills:

At least 5 years of experience in control, pressure protection, and/or automated valve maintenance preferred

Associates degree preferred

Experience working in a gas gathering system operation, preferred

Customer driven/focused

Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environment

Ability to read and interpret documents such as master schedule, safety rules, operating instructions, drawings/prints and procedure manuals

Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence that are clear and intelligible

Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected

Ability to work independently and/or in team assignments

Strong safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practices

Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed to support customer requirements and seasonal business volume

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others Essential Physical Functions:
