Job Title: Resource Center Assistant
Reports To: Resource Center Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our team full-time (40 hours per week). This role is vital to the daily operations of the Resource Center and combines administrative support, volunteer coordination, logistical assistance, and physical work, including lifting and moving supplies. The ideal candidate will be highly administrative, proactive, and passionate about serving the community in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable driving a large truck or use their personal vehicle for shopping and errands as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative, Data Management and Inventory Support
Provide administrative support to the RC Manager.
Perform data entry for inventory and order tracking.
Provide social media support for in-kind donations as needed.
Volunteer Leadership
Supervise and coordinate volunteer teams.
Organize and lead packing teams to efficiently prepare and distribute donation requests.
Track volunteer attendance.
Resource Assembly and Distribution
Assist with loading vehicles for social worker deliveries.
Conduct quality assurance checks on outgoing resources.
Shop for supplies as needed.
Daily Facility Support
Participate in opening/closing tasks of the Resource Center.
Maintain organization of supplies.
Ensure workspace remains clean and functional.

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours), Monday – Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends, depending on coverage needs. Flexibility is required to meet changing demands, especially during high-volume distribution days.
