Job Summary:

Illuminate USA is seeking an Environmental Technician to support our manufacturing operations at our Pataskala facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of recycled and waste materials. You will play a key part in ensuring environmental compliance, supporting sustainability initiatives, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the proper storage, packaging, labeling, and shipment of recycled and waste materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Accurately record and track recycling volumes and waste generation to support reporting and continuous improvement efforts.

Sign and manage manifests and shipping documentation for outgoing materials.

Conduct routine environmental inspections throughout the facility to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Identify and support opportunities for improved environmental performance and waste reduction.

Collaborate with operations and EHS teams to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move materials as needed.

Support general housekeeping and organization of environmental storage areas.

Qualifications:

Maintains a positive attitude and displays proactive habits.

Possess a high level of attention to detail and organization.

Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and with all internal and external stakeholders.

Fork truck and pallet jack experience preferred.

RCRA and DOT experience preferred.

This position will require night and weekend work.
