Job Summary & Dimensions

The primary objective of the Inventory Cycle Counter is to audit the accuracy of the inventory records by performing physical audits and comparing them with system records. This role ensures that inventory discrepancies are identified, recorded, and corrected to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.

The responsibilities of this position are vital to maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting quality management, and contributing to operational efficiency. Success in this role is measured by the accuracy of cycle counts and the timely reporting of discrepancies.

Job Accountabilities

This position has key responsibilities for maintaining accurate inventory levels and performing audits of stock. The main accountabilities include:

Perform Daily Location Audits

Perform daily audits of inventory locations, comparing physical counts to system records, identifying variances, and recounting items with questionable discrepancies. Ensure that all variances are posted to the correct inventory levels.

Perform Monthly Audit of LIFT Tray

Conduct a monthly audit of one LIFT tray to ensure accuracy and compliance with inventory management procedures.

Conduct Quarterly Audits of QA Cage and Offsite Inventory

Perform quarterly audits of the QA Cage and inventory stored offsite to verify accuracy and compliance.Report weekly progress on cycle counts and inventory accuracy levels to the Finance Manager, ensuring clear communication of results and any discrepancies found.Manage the physical disposal of obsolete, slow-moving, or quality-related inventory as needed, ensuring proper handling and documentation.Education, Training, and Experience:

Report Cycle Count Progress to Finance Manager

Dispose of Obsolete or Slow-Moving Inventory

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Strong aptitude for problem-solving and attention to detail.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (scales, overhead crane, forklifts).

Ability to learn and use the operating system related to material control and inventory management.

Ability to collaborate with production personnel and production planning teams.

Proficient math skills for calculating inventory discrepancies and variances.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).

Strong understanding of the quality system and standards.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong safety and quality consciousness to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
