Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of a data repository for General Sessions courts. This role involves developing a unified data model to integrate diverse data sources, enabling comprehensive analysis and reporting. Based in Cookeville, Tennessee, this is a long-term contract position that requires a hybrid work schedule, with two days in the office and three days remote.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver a strategic vision for the data architecture of the General Sessions Data Repository, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Design and implement robust data models that support comprehensive reporting and analytics across court operations.
• Establish processes for managing metadata, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and validity within the repository.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement methods to track and improve data completeness and consistency.
• Plan and execute the integration of diverse data sources into the repository, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including court personnel and IT teams, to address data requirements and strategic objectives.
• Define and enforce data governance frameworks, including security, backup, and recovery protocols.
• Select and implement tools and technologies that optimize data management and reporting capabilities.
• Oversee data mapping processes, ensuring efficient data flow and alignment with analytical objectives.
• Promote best practices in data warehousing and reporting methodologies throughout the organization.• Proven experience in designing and implementing data repositories or data warehouses.
• Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies and data processing best practices.
• Proficiency in tools and technologies related to database development, integration, and reporting.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing data security and privacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in metadata management and establishing data quality standards.
• Ability to plan and conduct data capacity analyses and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft technologies preferred.
