Assistant Chief Engineer (Building Technician IV)
Location: Baltimore, MD
One building at Canton Crossing (Waterfront)
One building next to Camden Yards Stadium
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $95,000 – $97,000 (based on experience)
Total Compensation: $120K+ (includes stock options, bonuses, and incentives)

About the Role
We’re hiring a hands-on leader to help run daily operations across two commercial buildings. You’ll work closely with the Chief Engineer and lead a team of technicians to keep all building systems running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support Building Technicians (Levels I–III)
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and more
Train and mentor junior technicians
Review work orders, manage budgets, and recommend improvements
Inspect and maintain building systems for top performance
What You Need
Experience:
8+ years in building systems
3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical coursework in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing
Licenses (Required):
Universal CFC certification
State Certified Journeyman’s License (Master’s preferred)
MD 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License (or equivalent)
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS/BMS, SCADA)
Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
