Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, specializing in operating vertical mill Matsuura machines equipped with FANUC controllers. The role involves primarily working on mills, including 3, 4, and 5 axis machines, with occasional tasks involving horizontal machinery. Our job shop focuses on projects for the military and defense sectors, producing computer cabinets for aircraft and military ships.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up CNC mills, mainly vertical mill Matsuura machines with FANUC controllers.
Run horizontal machinery as needed, focusing on 3, 4, and 5 axis milling operations.
Ensure precision and quality in manufacturing computer cabinets for military and defense applications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within a medium-sized shop.
Adapt to working on 2 and 3 axis machines initially, progressing to 5 axis machines as required.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years CNC mill set-up experience or a 2-year degree.
Proficiency in operating and setting up FANUC-controlled machines.
Ability to work on 3, 4, and 5 axis mills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a military contractor environment.
Comfortable progressing from 2 and 3 axis machines to 5 axis machines.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
