Hiring CNC Operators in Golden, CO

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading small parts onto milling centers and CNC machines, working with both CNC Mill and CNC Lathe (Haas). You will perform reaming and tapping using a drill press or manual mill and inspect parts in bulk quantities with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure tight tolerances. Additionally, you will communicate any equipment or safety issues promptly to the lead, maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S principles, and change tooling while making necessary adjustments on machines.

Pay: $21.00hr - $23.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)Shift: 1st shift

Job Responsibilities:

Load and unload small parts onto milling centers and CNC machines.

Operate both CNC Mill and CNC Lathe (Haas).

Perform reaming and tapping using a drill press or manual mill.

Inspect parts in bulk quantities using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to tight tolerances.

Promptly communicate any equipment or safety issues to the lead.

Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S principles.

Change tooling and make adjustments on machines as needed.

Qualifications:

1-2 years experience operating a CNC Mill in a production setting is ideal.

Familiarity with setting up machines and making minor adjustments.

Ability to read blueprints and conduct basic quality inspection with hand tools.

Understanding of g-code and machine setup.

Experience in machining and fabrication.

Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a production environment requiring steel-toe shoes.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
