Robert Half is hiring! We are looking for a talented Systems Administrator to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves solving complex technical issues, guiding clients with strategic IT recommendations, and mentoring less experienced team members. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills and a strong ability to align IT solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to networks, security, and cloud environments.

• Provide strategic IT recommendations to clients, ensuring alignment with their long-term business goals.

• Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions, including Azure and other leading platforms.

• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity practices to safeguard client data and systems.

• Mentor and guide less experienced technicians, supporting their growth and technical expertise.

• Document technical processes and solutions thoroughly to ensure accurate and accessible records.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage and execute IT projects effectively.

• Evaluate and integrate advanced networking solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.

• Extensive experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for threat mitigation.

• Proven expertise in cloud computing and the design of scalable cloud solutions.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation purposes.

• Hands-on experience with system integration and managing complex IT environments.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and a track record of successful project delivery.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

• Experience working with technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, Dell, and Active Directory, O365.
