Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating stand-up forklifts for inbound and outbound activities, including loading and unloading trucks, picking full pallets, and putting products away. A keen attention to detail is crucial, especially when dealing with FDA-regulated products. Quality is prioritized over quantity, and you must be able to identify mistakes and ensure compliance with GMP/SOP standards.
Responsibilities
Operate stand-up forklifts to manage inbound and outbound activities.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Pick full pallets and store products appropriately.
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Ensure GMP/SOP compliance in all operations.Essential Skills
Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong computer and RF scanner skills.
Stable work history.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a large 500,000 square ft. semi-climate controlled warehouse with around 40 employees. The facility is air-conditioned in the summer but lacks heating in the winter to maintain product temperature. This site serves as a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, including roasting beans and making chocolate liquor, powders, and cocoa butter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
