Express Employment Professionals is proudly partnering with a powerhouse in local metal manufacturing, and we're looking for precision-driven pros to join the team as Brake Press Operators. If you've got a mechanical mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and love the hum of heavy machinery - this role was pressed just for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the go-to expert for operating and setting up brake press machines, shaping metal like a master and ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled… well, press!

Your Mission Includes:

Running and setting up the brake press machine safely and efficiently

Reading blueprints and templates like a boss

Adjusting ram stroke, speeds, automatic feeds, and chutes for peak performance

Inspecting your first piece, then every 20th piece, all the way to the last - quality is key!

Using calipers, tape measures, and your keen eye to ensure every bend is beautiful

Training team members on safety, machine use, and best practices

Keeping production flowing and your supervisor in the loop on any issues

Logging time and quantities with accuracy - your numbers matter!

The Right Fit Has:

Experience with brake press operations or similar machinery

Ability to interpret blueprints and measure precisely

A solid understanding of shop safety and machine setup

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Strong work ethic and the ability to stay focused for long shifts

Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and work with your hands for up to 10 hours

Schedule:

Monday-Saturday 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
