Volt is immediately hiring for a Dispatcher in San Luis Obispo, CA

As a Dispatcher you will:
Be responsible for monitoring and authorization of driver overtime.
Manage drivers and oversee performance, including disciplinary actions and annual reviews.
Provide call in customers with delivery time range and date.
Project and report fuel needs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and be able to update reports with call in information as needed.
Update route information on all customers in the company system with products, tank sizes, contact information maps, call in, route frequency and any other special details.
Report on customer complaints, service issues and product quality or customers complaints from driver service.
Discuss unsafe delivery locations and equipment in a timely manner.
Review Driver’s Daily Vehicle inspection reports and create work order request for all issues.
Other task as assigned.
This is a Full-Time Exempt Opportunity 7:00AM – 4:00PM Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $33.00 - $40.00
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ Years’ Experience in Dispatching or Route Delivery Driving
Strong Communication Skills
Knowledge of spill/overfill safety and recovery procedure
Fuel Product Knowledge
Clean DMV report
Haz-Mat Certification
Understanding Cargo tank/placarded vehicle regulations
Knowledge of regulatory, permit to: water quality, weights and measures, DMV, department of transportation etc.
