Hello, we are looking for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Material Handlers in Honeoye Falls!

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, handling, and storing materials within our warehouse. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of equipment, ensuring a smooth workflow in our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, cherry pickers, order pickers, and clamp trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse.

Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipment while ensuring proper stacking and safety protocols are followed.

Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using cranes and other heavy equipment as needed.

Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking materials received and shipped, reporting discrepancies when necessary.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in materials handling or a related field is preferred.

Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as cranes, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks is highly desirable.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
