Recruiter, IT & Professional Staffing

3+ years staffing industry experience required with one employer

D.C. Hybrid (in office 2 3 days/week)

Our client is a successful, boutique staffing firm led by a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of building high-performing businesses. Known for their thoughtful, steady growth and personalized service, this team thrives in a constantly evolving market and values mentorship, adaptability, and professional development.

We re hiring a Recruiter to support a mix of direct hire and contract searches across IT, Finance & Accounting, Administrative, Legal and even niche roles like Catering Managers or Residential Coordinators.

What you will do:

Source, screen, and present candidates for a variety of professional and entry-level roles.

Work on both direct hire and contract placements (70/30 split, with flexibility).

Partner closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to align talent with client needs.

Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and a robust ATS (Avionté).

Participate in weekly team strategy sessions and 1:1 mentorship.

Develop expertise in IT and higher-level technical recruiting over time.

What we re looking for:

3+ years of experience in staffing/recruiting, ideally with professional roles.

A curious, resourceful recruiter who enjoys variety and solving problems.

Interest in growing into mid- to senior-level IT and Finance & Accounting recruiting.

Organized, confident, resourceful, strategic, and excited to work in a boutique setting.

Able to handle a mix of requisitions from admin to helpdesk to specialized roles.

Required:

Previous agency or staffing experience.

Familiarity with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

?Ability to manage 4-8 reqs at a time.

What you get:

Base salary: $50K $75K

Commission: 10% of deals placed (split), expected additional $25K $40K+ in year one
