Position Summary:
Primary support for the Business Development function is new business identification, qualification and customer inquiries. Responsible for customer interface including, but not limited to, prospecting, responding to RFP's, proposals, and general customer inquiries and issues. Includes support for the proposal process including contributing to proposals in the management and technical volumes, generating the Gate 0 Pursue/No Pursue briefings, Gate 1 Bid/No Bid briefings, contributing to Gate 3 Pricing review with the Price to Win analysis.
Responsibilities:
Acts as formal liaison between company and customer to provide direction, obtain information, and coordinate sales and marketing activities.
Supports the coordination and administration of the proposal process from RFP receipt through input, tracking, and proposal completion. Works closely with internal contracts, engineering and programs functions.
Interfaces with customer buyers, purchasing agents, and subcontracts personnel on orders, deliveries, quality issues, and general questions.
Interfaces with and supports business development and program management to assist with new business, new projects and new programs.
Interfaces with engineering in the development of IRAD programs. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 10 Years of DoD and ground based SATCOM acquisition/budgeting/requirements experience required. Familiarity with TTNC, LEO, MEO, and geosynchronous satellites is required.
Superb communications and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Familiarity with USG RFP's, SOW's, proposals and basic product documents is important.
Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution also needed.
Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel 25-50% to conferences and to customer sites and represent the Fisica ATI product line.
Meet Business Development objectives for orders and pursuit development.
Create Business Development strategies to meet division AOP and Strategic Growth Plans.
Collaborate with operations, finance, program management and engineering to ensure early program involvement for the successful production of proposals and booking the order.
Strict adherence to corporate ethics, internal controls, and ensure government compliance.
Contribute to the management of division marketing budgets. Desired Qualifications:
Enjoys working with people and identifying partnerships and collaborations.
Experience with testing product-market-fit hypotheses quickly.
Experience with the product development life cycle.
Ability to collaborate with team to respond to customer requirements and Requests for Proposals.
Effective communication in oral and written technical English in various mediums; proposal management and technical volumes, white papers and power point presentations.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is 119,500-222,500k. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
