Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Lead (Programmer 6) to join its MDOT Agency Services team. This role is critical in managing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications across the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on solution design, governance, data management, and lifecycle oversight. You will work closely with developers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable Power Platform solutions across multiple environments.

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

Data Management: Design and manage Dataverse data structures, enforce security, handle data flows and integrations.

Application Lifecycle Management: Manage app and flow deployments, version control, and backup procedures.

Environment Management: Collaborate with enterprise administrators to create and configure environments, assign roles/licenses, and monitor usage/capacity.

Governance & Documentation: Enforce organizational policies, perform log reviews, create documentation, and stay aligned with DTMB/Microsoft best practices.

Support & Troubleshooting: Provide end-user support, diagnose issues, and resolve app/flow/environment problems.

Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders, document business requirements, and promote Power Platform adoption across MDOT/DTMB.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years Power Apps Administration – including Canvas/Model-driven apps, app sharing, environment setup.

4+ years Dataverse – entity/field management, data modeling, security roles.

3+ years Power Automate – flow/connection/gateway management, flow triggers/actions.

3+ years Azure Active Directory (AAD)/Entra ID – user/group/role management, conditional access.

2+ years Power Platform Governance – DLP policies, auditing, environment strategy.

Nice to Have

Experience with Git or source control for Power Platform

PowerShell scripting for automation

Power Pages management and security

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-200)

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
