Wire Harness Fabricator - Automotive

Job Overview:

Kett Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a wire harness fabrication product development associate to work in an advance automotive technology research & development facility in Elmendorf, Texas. The ideal candidate will report to the site Chief Engineer and support vehicle builds and validation activities of products which includes heavy-duty trucks and school buses.

2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Fabricating automotive electrical wire harness assemblies.

Vehicle installation of wire harnesses and overlays.

Work from schematics, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal descriptions.

General labor around facility & other tasks as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Fabricating prototype automotive wire harnesses assemblies, including soldering and crimping. (20-30 minute on-site harness fabrication test will be part of the interview process)

Able to read automotive vehicle and component electrical schematics.

Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, and instructions.

Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.

Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.

Basic MS Office knowledge.Company Description
