We are seeking a qualified Sterile Processing Technician to support a surgical department.

Location: Bricktown, NJ 08724
Shift Details:
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Monday–Friday
40 hours/week
No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
Assignment Highlights:
13-week contract position
Focus on cleaning, processing, and sterilizing surgical instruments and patient care equipment
Case cart attendant responsibilities for the operating room
Opportunity to work within a respected healthcare organization
Responsibilities:
Receives, sorts, processes, assembles, and sterilizes patient care equipment and surgical instruments
Operates sterilizers (Steam, ETO, Sterrad, Steris) and performs tests such as biological and Bowie Dick
Ensures accurate sterilization records are completed and reviewed
Prepares case carts using doctor preference information and delivers them to operating rooms
Communicates with nursing staff regarding missing items or shortages
Lifts up to 50 lbs and stands for extended periods during the shift
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certification in Central Processing (CRCST or CBSPDT) required
1 year of experience in instrument processing or completion of a Central Processing course
Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
