Overview: Selah Life Therapy seeks a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Therapist to join our team. We specialize in providing high-quality therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in a supportive environment. Essential Functions: The Licensed Therapist is responsible for clinical and administrative duties. The part-time Licensed Therapist will be responsible for a weekly clinical caseload of approximately 12-24 clients. Clinicians provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals, couples, and families in a supportive environment. They provide intakes, conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy tailored to clients' unique needs and goals. Therapists collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to the practice's mission of fostering hope and healing. Their work empowers clients to grow, overcome challenges, and thrive in their personal and relational lives.

Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Services:

Provide high-quality, client-centered therapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups based on the practice's offerings.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Apply evidence-based practices and interventions to address clients' presenting concerns and goals.

Adjust treatment approaches as needed to ensure client progress and well-being.

Responsible for maintaining a weekly caseload of approximately 12-24 therapy clients.

Documents all progress notes, contact notes, intakes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other clinical paperwork within 48 hours.

Schedules appointments, contacts new referrals, returns messages, and refers to and coordinates with other mental health and community providers.

Receives and participates in clinical supervision and peer consultation as needed.

Participate in monthly staff meetings and other practice meetings/trainings.

Adheres to quality assurance standards of the clinical practice.

Maintains compliance with professional licensure regulations and verifies adherence to continuing education requirements for licensure renewals.

Responsible for data reporting and analysis as requested by the Practice Owner, Practice Manager, Clinical Director, and/or Clinical Supervisor.

Marketing visits and meetings to increase and retain community client referrals.

Client Communication and Rapport:

Build and maintain therapeutic relationships that foster trust, respect, and engagement.

Communicate effectively with clients to explain therapeutic processes, set goals, and provide psychoeducation.

Maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling.

Currently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or Associate in the State of TX

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience

Possess and demonstrate sound clinical and professional judgment.

Able to use computer software, such as EHR and Google Docs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
