This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with agile software development experience to contribute to the evolution and optimization of Vista Global’s Flight Operations worldwide. This role is centered on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology supporting multiple Flight Operations teams, enabling high quality air mobility services.

Vista Global is building the future of private air travel so the world can experience aviation as it was meant to be. There was a time when we waited in long lines, removed our shoes, and shuffled through crowded security checkpoints. We settled for search engines, commoditization, and a plethora of apps. Meanwhile, thousands of private jets sat on runways and in hangars depreciating in value, and 40% of the private planes in the sky were flying empty. No-one stopped to ask if there wasn’t a better way.

Responsibilities

Align product development with business objectives and user needs.

Assist in defining and maintaining the Flight Ops product roadmap in collaboration withstakeholders.

Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize features and enhancements.

Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on features based internal and external stakeholder feedback.

Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements documentation,including user stories, feature specifications, and workflows.

Manage the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized.

Work within agile methodologies, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, andretrospectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, andoperations to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Identify potential risks and blockers in product development and escalate themappropriately.

Work with QA teams to ensure product features meet functional and qualityexpectations and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) before product launches.Develop training materials and product documentation as needed.

Track product performance using key metrics and analytics and generate post-launchreports and recommend improvements based on data insights.

Work with leadership to address resourcing constraints or technical challenges.

Travel to domestic and international locations as needed to support productmanagement initiatives

This is a remote position, however strictly excluding candidates based in NY, NJ, IL, MA, CT and RI.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; anMBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum three years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on managinginternal systems and applications; aviation industry experience is preferred.

Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and the softwaredevelopment life cycle (SDLC).

Preferred certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management.

Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similarplatforms.

Familiarity with data analytics tools for making data-driven decisions.

Basic knowledge of APIs, cloud technologies, and UX/UI principles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset, capable of workingindependently and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Experience in stakeholder management to ensure product alignment with businessobjectives.

A user-centric approach with a strong ability to anticipate and address challenges.
