The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while ensuring quality, safety, budget compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and industry regulations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives.
Budget & Cost Management
Monitor project expenses, track financial performance, and manage cost control measures.
Prepare and present project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Stakeholder & Client Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Communicate project updates, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Quality & Safety Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and address any issues.
Resource & Personnel Management
Oversee and manage on-site teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Negotiate contracts and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely material deliveries.
Risk & Issue Resolution
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address unforeseen challenges and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field OR 5+ years of experience in commercial construction (superintendent or higher).
Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
OSHA certification and PMP certification (preferred but not required).
Detail oriented and strong communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, project specifications, and contract documents.
Work Conditions & Expectations:
Work both in the office and at project sites as needed.
Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
Must be able to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
