Within Wholesale & Rural (W&R) we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Junior Data Analytics Engineer.
You & your future
During the Early Career Program at Rabobank you work on your career by combining working in an IT department with training focused on soft- and hard skill development. For four days a week you will work as a Junior Data Analytics Engineer in the WR Radar team. Next to this one day a week your focus will be on your own learning and development. Through both soft skill and technical trainings presented by professionals your start at Rabobank will be a success! After the 18 month program our goal is to continue working with you at Rabobank.
As a vital member of our organization, you help us in the WR Radar team - within area Onboarding of tribe W&R Client Banking & Data - to develop qualitative, structural and innovative solutions, as well as to deliver insight for improved decision-making and reporting. This enables everyone involved in W&R FEC activities (Financial Economic Crime) to be in Control of FEC with high quality insights about our clients, processes and responsibilities. We are looking for a Junior Data analytics engineer to join our Team WR Radar. In our area we embrace the newest technologies and our stack is Databricks centric.
Examples of projects/tasks
You link the different domains of data to leverage high-quality data delivery to build high quality applications
You’ll contribute to building new data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders and align with the vision of our WR Radar team within CB&D tribe
You gather and define requirements for the new to be build data solutions, anticipate on needs of the business and foresee potential risks.
You take ownership over solutions, work on improvements to the solution and feed these learnings back to the team/organization

Period: 18 months
Afterwards, you will continue working with us as Data Analytics Engineer
Hours per week: 40

You & your talent
A bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related study
You already have some experience in Data Analytics / Engineering / Azure
You have some experience with programming languages such as Python/Pyspark, and SQL.
Knowledge of with Azure tooling as Azure Data Lake, (Azure) Databricks, Airflow, YAML, and knowledge of of data modelling (including historical data), data lakehouse and ETL processes
You are familiar with a scrum environment and working agile.
Fluently in English, to work with all your international colleagues, in the Netherlands and abroad
Your personal focus is on continuous development, both on soft- and hard skills
Expressing yourself and being positively critical in asking questions is a must in this team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
