Job Title: Eligibility QA Analyst

Department: Department of Eligibility

Reports To: Manager, Department of Eligibility

FLSA Status: Exempt, Non-Union/Non-Management

Summary: The Eligibility QA Analyst will assist management with analyzing the operations of the department of eligibility by reviewing, verifying, and reconciling data to resolve eligibility discrepancies.

The Eligibility QA Analyst will coordinate processes within the Department of Eligibility to ensure that participant and dependent enrollment and eligibility matters are reviewed and processed in accordance with Federal regulatory guidelines and Fund policies. The Eligibility QA Analyst manually tests products, services, or systems; analyze requirements; write and run test cases (scripts); report defects and verify defect resolution. The Eligibility QA Analyst will work closely with the Eligibility management and Senior QA Team, as well as other functional process owners as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Timely investigates V3 & Dynamics interface user problems and identifies their source, determine, test and if applicable implements solutions.

Defines the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used.

Manages the test data during each test cycle by documenting the results in the corresponding test software tool to detect flaws.

Serves as a liaison between the business and development team.

Runs diagnostic and system testing and presents the information to the business and relevant stakeholders.

Identifies and eliminates redundant business functions and components.

Performs routine inspections and quality tests of departmental processes.

Identifies, addresses, and collaborates on solutions of workflow and production issues with management.

Documents quality assurance activities and prepares audit reports.

Creates and maintains training materials and process manuals.

Meets with management to discuss areas of focus and improvement within the business.

Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Communicates technical and/or complex information to a varied audience either verbally and/or in written format.

Provides project coordination support for department initiatives.

Assists with guidance and training staff performing related work in V3, Dynamics, Qlikview and other applicable systems/software.

Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.

Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.

Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software.

A demonstrated capability to manipulate and use multiple software programs simultaneously including Excel, Qlikview, Microsoft Word, Windows applications, PowerPoint, Dynamics, presentation software and web-based programs.

Education and/or Experience:

The incumbent is expected to have at least 4 years background in technical and/or analytical experience.

BA/BS degree or 2 year associates degree preferred.
