MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT GENERAL LABOR OR MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking a motivated casting operator to fill an open position at a vinyl manufacturing company in Placentia, CA.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 2 PM -10:30 PM. Plus mandatory OT/ Saturdays.

Requirements for the Casting Operator:

Must have 6 months of general labor or machine operating experience

Pass Background, Drug Screen, and E-Verify

Must have a HSD or GED

Must speak English or be Bilingual

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities of the Casting Operator:

Operate and monitor the casting machine to produce vinyl film according to specifications.

Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

Collaborate with other team members, including supervisors and quality control technicians, to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

Inspect the quality of the vinyl film during production, identifying and addressing any defects (e.g., bubbles, wrinkles, inconsistencies in thickness or color).

Set up the casting line, including loading raw materials (resin, additives) and adjusting machine parameters (temperature, speed, tension).

Assist with material handling, including moving raw materials and finished rolls of vinyl.
