The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a highly motivated student to support the Subcontracts team in the Business and Finance Division. This is a part-time position with a flexible work schedule. Part-time work must still be performed between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. Student employees are expected to work between 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain compliance with internal company policies and procedures. This position is year-round onsite in North Logan, Utah and does not have the ability to support remote work.
Responsibilities of the Subcontract Assistant include, but are not limited to, assisting the Small Business Liaison Officer in small business outreach efforts, vetting of suppliers, and subcontract closeouts. This position will also perform basic data entry and other office duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Actively working towards a degree at an accredited institution
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to work independently
Must have the ability to obtain DoD security clearance
Must be a US citizen
