Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Pay Range: $26/hr (based on experience)

Job Overview:

As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the brake press machine to fabricate metal parts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of the parts produced, while meeting safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts based on production specifications.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine settings and material requirements.

Monitor the operation of the machine to ensure proper functioning, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.

Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the brake press machines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and ensuring a safe work environment.

Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines while operating machinery.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a manufacturing setting is required.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and precision when setting up and operating machinery.

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic machine maintenance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Willingness to work in a team-oriented setting and collaborate with others to meet production targets.

Must be able to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required protective gear.
