Germain Motor Company is seeking a technically skilled and strategically minded IT professional to join our team as an IT Strategy & Endpoint Services Lead. This person will serve as a critical bridge between our organization and our external Managed Service Providers (MSPs), lead a top-to-bottom technology audit of our dealer group, and define the roadmap for our next-generation IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into a leadership position, with the potential to evolve into our future IT Director.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Assessment & Planning

Conduct a comprehensive technical audit across all rooftops, including hardware, software, vendor services, and network architecture.

Evaluate current IT endpoints, tools, and service providers to identify gaps and redundancies.

Build a proposed next-generation tech stack—including equipment, software, security tools, and vendor partnerships.

MSP & Vendor Liaison

Act as the main point of contact between our internal team and all managed service providers.

Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are being met and that vendors are aligned with our long-term goals.

Track and evaluate vendor contracts to inform rollout strategies and cost optimization.

Rollout Optimization & Deployment Planning

Draft a timeline and phased deployment strategy based on contract expiration dates, budget cycles, operational urgency, and business impact.

Coordinate across departments and locations to ensure technology implementations are seamless and minimally disruptive.

Endpoint Support Oversight

Partner with on-the-ground personnel in each market to triage and resolve endpoint IT tickets.

Maintain oversight of helpdesk and field service coordination, ensuring quality and responsiveness.

Qualification:

4+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or endpoint support.

Experience interfacing with MSPs or serving in a technology vendor/client success role.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments (especially in retail or multi-site businesses).

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Comfortable switching between hands-on technical troubleshooting and strategic planning.

Highly organized, with a process-oriented mindset.
