Description
The Mortgage Processing area is looking to add processing assistants to take some administrative and repetitive tasks away from the HLA's (Home Lending Advocates aka Processors). Pipelines are currently over 25 on average for processors and they have limited bandwidth. The intention of these positions is to help make the processors more efficient and allow them to spend more time communicating with borrowers and moving loans through the process faster. There are a total of 99 processors so there is around 2500 loans in process at any given point in time.
The main responsibility of these individuals will be completing "verification of employment" (VOE's) and updating Home Owners Insurance (HOI) policies for the loans in process.
VOE's will consist of reaching out via phone and email to the current employer of borrowers to ensure they are still employed. They are expected to make 3 attempts before giving the task bask to the HLA or Loan officer. The expectation is to reach out within 24 hours of receiving the task and then follow up if they don't hear back every 24 hours.
HOI updates will consist of contacting the insurance agent to get updates or collect documents ensuring the borrower has HOI on the property for the close date moving forward. There are templates to assist with these tasks in a proprietary tool called "Processing Expert" for the team members to utilize.
It will be very fast paced so they will need to work with urgency and be able to handle a high volume of tasks (potentially touches 60 a day).
Everyone will be trained on these functions but they need to be quick learners and self-sufficient.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
