OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The HR Generalist supports a wide range of human resources functions, helping to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations across the organization. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management, contributing to areas such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.

$25 to startResponsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly associates
Assist HR Director with filing and data entry into the tracks and the company’s HRIS
Provide support to employees and members of leadership with personnel concerns, FMLA and other leave requests, terminations, and other HR-related tasks
Facilitate employee onboarding orientation as needed
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law
Send communication out, via email or internal messaging boards, to an entire organization or individual departments regarding various topics and events
Write, update, and post job ads; review resumes and prescreen qualified candidates
Coordinate employee engagement activities throughout the year to improve morale and help demonstrate the resort's core values
Assist in entering new hires, terminations, and other employee changes into the HR system
Act as backup to the HR Director as needed
Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one (1) year of Human Resources experience is required
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Development, Administration, or any related field is preferred
