Join our Sales Team!
We are immediately hiring a SALES PROFESSIONAL to drive new and existing business through the NORTHERN CALIFORNIA territory, with a concentration and home base location of SAN FRANCISCO OR SACRAMENTO areas. You will have a proven record of winning and developing business with commercial tile contractors, installers, specifiers, architects, and other key influencers.
This is a field sales position with daily territory travel including some overnight.
Compensation: $80-$120k (base + commission + bonus).
Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Growth of ARDEX and Henry products
Generate Leads and win new business opportunities
Promote Products through hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and professional displays
Build Relationships with partner distributors, specialist flooring/tiling contractors, general contractors, architects, and key business influencers.
Field Service & Support including job start assistance, bid preparation, and distributor/installer training
Technical Expertise and technical recommendations, liaising with our technical team for resources and solutions
Achieve Targets and exceed goals
Collaborate with corporate resources (Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics) to deliver exceptional service to ARDEX customers

What you'll bring to ARDEX
Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential. Knowledge of building materials industries is required. Knowledge of flooring installation systems is desirable
Technical proficiency and familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
High levels of business integrity, ethics and good professional judgement
High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry. Solution driven and customer focused
Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel daily throughout assigned territory, including some overnight.
Able to operate non power and power tools. Good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
Able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion, with a carrying capability of 55 pounds.
Four (4) year college degree is preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience.
