About the Role:

The Process Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes within our facility. This position is responsible for monitoring and optimizing production equipment, particularly focusing on injection molding machines, to meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality. The technician will also implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability. By conducting visual inspections and troubleshooting issues, the Process Technician will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting the overall production goals and ensuring that our products meet customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with injection molding processes.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical degree or certification in a related field.

Experience with process control systems and data analysis.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control the operation of injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns.

Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or process-related issues that arise during production.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.

Skills:

The required skills, such as process control and mechanical aptitude, are essential for monitoring and adjusting the operation of molding machines effectively. Daily work involves using visual inspection techniques to assess product quality, ensuring that all items meet stringent standards. Preventive maintenance skills are applied to develop and execute maintenance schedules that reduce equipment downtime. Familiarity with production equipment allows the technician to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues, minimizing disruptions in the manufacturing process. Preferred skills, such as data analysis, enhance the technician's ability to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
