Process Technician

**Aerotek is Hiring a Process Technician on Day and Night Shifts!**

**Job Description:** The Process Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment within their assigned work cells. This role involves monitoring machinery, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and implementing process changes based on established protocols and procedures. The Process Technician plays a critical role in maintaining production quality and efficiency.

**Responsibilities:**

+ **Monitor Production Equipment:** Regularly check and monitor production equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently and effectively.

+ **Troubleshoot Issues:** Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with production processes and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

+ **Implement Process Changes:** Make necessary adjustments to processes according to established protocols and procedures to optimize production.

+ **Measurement and Data Entry:** Use and read various measurement tools such as rulers, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and thermometers. Accurately enter data into the IQMS or equivalent system.

+ **Documentation:** Review and document production processes, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

+ **Training:** Complete Technician Training Programs to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

**Essential Skills:**

+ **Education:** High School Diploma or GED.

+ **Communication:** Strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing.

+ **Technical Proficiency:** Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ **Measurement Tools:** Ability to use and read measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thermometers.

+ **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years relevant experience or completion of some college courses.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ **Industry Standards:** Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, 5S, process troubleshooting, and root cause identification.

+ **Mechanical Aptitude:** Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with various types of machinery and tools.

+ **Multi-tasking:** Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

+ **Hand Tools:** General knowledge of hand tools and their proper use.

**Work Environment:**

+ **Shift:** Day shift, with potential for overtime as needed.

+ **Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

+ **Safety:** Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
