Mosaic is looking for dynamic design professionals to join our showroom sales team. We are a direct importer and distributor that values delivering exceptional experiences. Headquartered in Chantilly, VA, Mosaic occupies a broad geographic footprint with nine locations across Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina, as well as a Central Service Center and Warehouse located in Doswell, VA. Each of our Design Centers house state-of-the-art showrooms, dedicated trade sales teams and on-site warehouses. As a Design Consultant you are responsible for creating and closing sales opportunities directly with customers. This includes the recommendation, selection and most importantly, sale of various home interior products. This position is expected to maintain a sales-focused attitude in conjunction with the ability to provide customers with an exceptional experience. Additionally, the Design Consultant will develop lasting relationships with customers to continually build sales and grow business.

What You'll Do:

Work with clients to assist in the selection of various interior products, including flooring materials, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, and accessories.

Communicate with trade partners to ensure project goals and expectations are met.

Use selling techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic that leads to a confirmed sale of merchandise.

Build customer confidence by creating value through the features and benefits of products and materials.

Develop ongoing relationships with builders and contractors to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Serve as a team player amongst the branch staff to occasionally assist with operational duties, as needed.

Communicate with the Design Center team to ensure sales goals are achieved.

Requirements

Comfortable establishing, building, and maintaining professional relationships with customers

Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated

Familiar with consultative sales techniques, including the utilization of suggestive selling methods

Ability to serve as a product knowledge expert, providing industry solutions and expertise in a thorough and educated manner

Proven sales record with a closing mentality

Strong focus on the importance of positive customer service and client experience

Problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to speak to Mosaic’s brand

Experience with various computer software programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Minimum of three years of sales experience

Ability to deliver the “Mosaic Experience.”
