We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support Welborn Trucking by providing top-tier customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. This role is critical in maintaining strong client relationships by responding to customer inquiries, assisting with orders, and proactively addressing service needs. The Inside Sales Representative will act as the first point of contact for Welborn Trucking clients and vendors, ensuring their experience is smooth, efficient, and aligned with our company values.

You are a customer-focused professional with a background in inside sales, account management, or customer service. You excel in fast-paced environments, possess excellent communication skills, and take pride in building lasting relationships with clients. Dispatch & Logistics Teams: Ensures accurate communication regarding customer orders and delivery expectations.

Operations & Sales Teams: Supports business growth by fostering strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Accounting & Finance Teams: Delivers accurate order and customer data for reconciliation and reporting.

Your Impact:

Customer Service & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for Welborn Trucking customers, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted resource for their needs.

Provide proactive customer support by anticipating issues, resolving concerns, and following up on open requests.

Address client concerns and work with internal teams to provide swift and effective solutions.

Order Processing & Coordination

Assist customers with placing, modifying, or tracking their orders.

Ensure all order details are accurate and communicated effectively.

Coordinate with operations teams and freight vendors to manage scheduling and ensure timely deliveries.

Monitor order fulfillment and proactively communicate any changes or delays to customers.

Operational Support & Communication

Work closely with sales and ops personnel for effective problem-solving.

Support sales and operations by tracking order trends, identifying service opportunities, and addressing recurring challenges.

Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate information flow and timely issue resolution.

Utilize company technology systems to manage customer accounts, track orders, and update relevant documentation.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

Identify inefficiencies in customer service and order processes, proposing and implementing improvements.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborate with leadership to refine sales and customer support strategies.

Requirements

High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.

Experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in logistics or material production.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.

Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
