**Job Title: Maintenance Helper**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Helper to assist with various tasks related to dormitory living. This position involves assembling and disassembling furniture, transporting items within buildings, and performing general cleaning duties. You will also engage in light painting under the guidance of a supervisor and use basic hand tools.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble and disassemble furniture and dorm-related living items.

+ Transport items to different rooms or buildings.

+ Perform general clean-up tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.

+ Engage in light painting with on-site training from the supervisor.

+ Utilize basic hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, box cutters, and tape measures.

**Essential Skills**

+ Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work for extended periods.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team with other laborers and skilled workers.

+ Attention to detail in following instructions and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.

+ Reliability, demonstrated by punctuality and consistent attendance.

+ Adaptability, with a willingness to learn new skills and undertake different tasks.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with hand tools.

+ General labor skills.

**Work Environment**

This role is based in Campion Hall, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The environment is non-smoking, and interaction with students requires mindful language and behavior.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
