About this Opportunity
Responsible for providing supervision to the sports leagues day-to-day by maintaining order in the area or conducting/overseeing the staff. Exercises independent judgment and authority for maintaining control and order.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Resolves conflicts during league operations
Checks on facilities for safety and maintenance needs
Officiates games when needed
Makes decisions on playability of facilities when in question
Keeps league standings
Assigns officials to games
Turns in payroll
Inspects sports equipment for quality and safety and reports to supervisor any deficiencies
Turns on lights when needed
Maintains discipline and oversees events at a recreation facility
Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices
Attends work regularly at the designated place and time
Supports continuous process improvement initiatives
Performs related work as required
Required Education and Experience
Working and supervisory experience with various sports; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Desired Qualifications
Valid U.S. Driver's License preferred.
Work Schedule
Sunday afternoons and/or weeknights (3-4 hour shifts)
